All the above products are derived from corn although some of them are gotten from other products too but they can also be gotten from.now there are some other advantages of corn which I will be listing below;
1) It produces very fast.
2) It can survive in various climates.
3) It does not require a special environment to grow.
4) It does not entail a lot of stress like some other agricultural products.
How to start corn production business.
You could get a land leased to you for just the sum of N50,000.00 in most Nigerian villages and you would be given most especially if you are a member of that village.
Things you will need:
1) Land leased to you for N50,000.00
2) A bag of corn seeds for N3,000.00
3) You could get the land cleared and brushed for just N10,000.00
4) You could get it planted for just N6000.00.
5) Some people could agree to manage it for you for just a little share at the end of the harvest in some villages while some will charge a little price to help you manage it any ways you could pay a professional farmer to manage it for you for only N10,000.00.
How to go about it:
1) Clear the land you have acquired wether by buying,gift or lease.
2) This crop does not need beds although beds could be added but heaps are better.
3) Construct the heaps.
4) Then buy a bag of corn seed for N3000.00.Actually am using the example of a big land but you could also use a small land which could require just one cup of corn seed but it is still the same method.
5) Now pour water on these heaps and live them till the next day.
6) Then begin sowing the seeds to the heaps if you have the kind of big land am talking about you would be better off with a seed planter as you can’t sow over 300 heaps by yourself with your hands.
7) Always weed and water them and try as much as possible to use pesticides to avoid loss then.
Corn naturally takes 3-4 months to begin producing but now with the come of genetic modification of crops you should begin harvesting within a month and 3weeks of planting the corn. When you are done with this you should market it below are various ways you can market it;
1) Find companies that produce any of the above products mentioned and contact them to supply the raw materials to them. You can find this companies on business directories like www.vconnect.com
2) Use a truck and send it to the market so that market women can buy it and sell to their customers.
The methods above can be used to sell your corn and before you know what is happening you have just opened your production industry with less than N300,000.00 and the truth is that this can give you up to a profit of N3,000,000.00 aside the money for production and you are good to go.
